This policy (together with my terms of use and any other documents referred to on it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by ourselves. Data processor – A processor is responsible for processing personal data on behalf of a controller.

Personal data – The GDPR applies to ‘personal data’ meaning any information relating to an identifiable person who can be directly or indirectly identified in particular by reference to an identifier (as explained in Article 6 of GDPR). For example name, passport number, home address or private email address. Online identifiers include IP addresses and cookies.
Processing – means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
Amodeo Creative is a data processor and a data controller. This means that in our role as a data controller we decide how your personal data is processed and for what purposes.
We also operate as a data processor, we often perform data processing on behalf of our clients. We will never undertake such work without permission and we keep records of all categories of processing activities that have been carried out on behalf of our client (the controller).

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences. A cookie containing personal information or information that allows you to be identified (such as an IP address) is defined as personal data.
We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.
Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.
You can choose to accept or decline cookies via a mechanism on our website. You can equally modify your browser settings to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.

Your personal data will be treated as strictly confidential and will not be shared.
We keep your personal data for no longer than reasonably necessary. If you have not done business with us for 2 or more years we will remove your personal data.
Much of the data that we collect as a data controller is required for lawful purposes but where our data collection is optional or permission based you are under no statutory or contractual requirement or obligation to provide us with your personal data.
Unless subject to an exemption under the GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

We do not use any form of automated decision making in our business.
If we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose, not covered by this Data Privacy Notice, then we will provide you with a new notice explaining this new use prior to commencing the processing and setting out the relevant purposes and processing conditions.
